About us

Stichting SAMAH was founded in 1999 with the aim of promoting participation of (former) unaccompanied minor asylum seekers and improving their position in the Netherlands.

As an independent foundation, SAMAH has set up dozens of projects for and with unaccompanied minors, carried out by professionals and volunteers. Already more than 5,000 young people have participated in SAMAH projects and activities, including in youth teams, buddy and host parent projects, festivals, trainings, coaching programs, self-organizations and volunteer work.

The foundation therefore has extensive experience, knowledge, and networks where this target group is concerned and is considered an expert on this target group in the Netherlands.
